NTT Communications’ Global Data VPN is No. 1 In Customer Satisfaction for the third time

TOKYO, JAPAN – NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT (NYSE: NTT) Group, announced today that its Arcstar Universal One global VPN service received a No.1 Customer Satisfaction designation from the UK marketing services firm Ocean82, Ltd. for the third time. The selection, which is based on predicted organic growth and overall customer satisfaction, was published recently in “Voice of the Customer: Global Data VPN, Issue 18,” a benchmarking report.

According to Janet Watkin CEO of Ocean82, “NTT Com emerge as the number 1 global provider of data VPN services achieving the highest positioning score in the latest study of user opinion in the business enterprise market. Confidence in NTT Com remains high among its customers evidenced by its world-class rating”.

NTT Com was the only company to exceed the resilience benchmark to earn a World Class Customer Satisfaction award for demonstrating its sustainable competitive advantage. This is the third time NTT Com has won this separate award. Ocean82 evaluated customer satisfaction of eight global telecom operators, the others being AT&T, BT, Orange Business, T-Systems, Telefonica, Verizon and Vodafone Global Enterprise. The methodology involved interviewing decision-makers, influencers and end users at more than 1,000 multinational companies. The report considered major categories of customer service and 32 related service attributes.

For Second Consecutive Year, NTT Communications Named 2015 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Data Center Service Provider of the Year

TOKYO, JAPAN — NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT Solutions and international communications business within the NTT (NYSE: NTT) Group, announced today that it was named the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Data Center Service Provider of the Year for the second consecutive year. The results were announced at the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards in Singapore on June 17.

According to Jessie Yu, Industry Manager, Asia Pacific ICT Practice of Frost & Sullivan, “NTT Communications (NTT Com) upped the stakes in the data center services space by launching its next-generation data center services branded as “Nexcenter” in April 2013. To meet the burgeoning demand of data center services in Asia-Pacific, the service provider has been expanding its data center footprint across the region. In 2014 alone, NTT Com launched three enterprise-class data centers, respectively India Bangalore 2, Malaysia Cyberjaya 4, and Shanghai Pudong Data Center.”

NTT Com Named as a Leader in IDC ITMarketScape: Asia/Pacific Managed Security Services 2015 Vendor Assessment

TOKYO, JAPAN – NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced today that it has been positioned as a Leader in International Data Corporation’s (IDC) first ever “IDC ITMarketScape: Asia/Pacific Managed Security Services 2015 Vendor Assessment” report (doc # AP251064, May 2015). The IDC ITMarketScape represents a vendor assessment including both quantitative and qualitative characteristics that define success in today’s managed security services market.

IDC evaluated 16 organizations that offer managed security services (MSS) in Asia/Pacific by conducting in-depth interviews with MSS providers and more than 20 interviews with providers’ customers.

TOKYO, JAPAN – NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT (NYSE: NTT) Group, announced today that it received the Japan Unified Communications-as-a-Service Provider of the Year award at the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Japan Excellence Awards held in Tokyo on June 4. The award was presented to the company that provided the best unified communication services in 2014.

The Frost & Sullivan Japan Excellence Awards, now celebrating their fifth year, recognize outstanding achievements in the past year. The awards are hosted by Frost & Sullivan, which employs 1,800 analysts and provides research and consulting services to over 300 different industries.

The Japan Unified Communication-as-a-Service Provider of the Year award was presented to NTT Com based on a thorough evaluation covering categories such as revenue growth, market share, customer acquisitions and solution innovations.

NTT Communications wins 3 categories at Telecom Asia Awards 2015

TOKYO, JAPAN — NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT (NYSE: NTT) Group, announced today that it has won the categories of Best International Wholesale Carrier, Best Data Center Services Provider and Best Cloud Based Service in the 2015 Telecom Asia Awards, during a gala ceremony in Jakarta on May 20.

Now in its 18th year, the awards are the region’s longest-running and most prestigious telecom industry awards. They reward innovative and outstanding performance by Asian service providers and industry executives. The winners were chosen by a panel of 13 independent judges. Awards were presented in 16 categories.

NTT Com received Best Cloud-Based Service for the 3rd consecutive year. The award recognizes the outstanding performance, high user evaluation and advanced technology of NTT Com’s cloud enabled Arcstar Universal One™ (UNO). “NTT Com impressed the judges by being the first to commercialize SDN/NFV-enabled cloud services on a global scale, allowing enterprises to activate their own services and pay on a per-use basis, years ahead of other players in the field,” according to judging panel. By combining SDN and NFV technology, NTT Com enhances flexible, virtualized, on-demand WAN capabilities for enterprises.

Best Data Center Services Provider is awarded for Service Providers providing best in class data center services, covering data center services for both in-house and third-party users. NTT Com was also named Best International Wholesale Carrier for the second time since 2011.
