The service, an expansion of NTT Com’s IoT connectivity service lineup, will flexibly respond to the diversified needs of clients that deploy equipment such as automobiles, construction or agricultural machinery, etc. in some 180 countries.

    TOKYO, JAPAN, April 25, 2022—NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT group, announced today that it will launch a new cloud-based security service, the “OsecT” wide-angle professional service, to visualize and detect security risks in control systems supporting factory production lines, etc., mainly for small and midsized enterprises (SME), on April 25. NTT Com aims to capture a 10% share of the SME market for control-system security services by the end of the current fiscal year in March 2023.

    TOKYO, JAPAN, April 19, 2022—INTERNET MULTIFEED CO. (Multifeed), the provider of JPNAP, one of Asia's largest internet exchanges (IX), Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ), a major Internet service provider (ISP) in Japan, and NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT group, announced today that they have conducted the first successful IX interconnection in Asia using 400-gigabit Ethernet, which has four times the traffic bandwidth of commonly used 100-gigabit Ethernet. The demonstration has confirmed that 400-gigabit Ethernet is commercially viable in terms of interoperability and performance for IX (see Test Configuration below).

    TOKYO, JAPAN, March 28, 2022 — NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT Group, and NTT Anode Energy (NTT AE), the NTT Group company responsible for smart energy business promotion, announced today that as a new value-added solution for clients using NTT Com's data centers, the two companies will launch an power menu offering on April 1 that allows clients to select renewable energy to help meet their decarbonization targets, and also provide environmental value that ensure no emissions of CO2 (carbon dioxide), a cause of global warming. This will enable clients to comply with “Renewable Energy 100%” (RE100) and other international environmental initiatives, as well as with the Act on Promotion of Global Warming Countermeasures. It will also support clients’ ESG management initiatives through the use of renewable energy sources with additionality such as off-site power purchase agreements, which regulate the supply of renewable energy from locations that are remote from those where the energy is consumed.

The algorithm will be presented under the Machine Learning category of AISTATS 2022, which will be held online March 28-30.
