Position: Information Technology Specialist/Technician

This technical position provides support for all IT areas for C-Level Executive Support, Executive Briefing Center, AV equipment and related technologies. Support includes Specifications, installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established guidelines. Employee will also assist in the maintenance and testing of network servers, and associated equipment.

Scope of Work

The IT Specialist is responsible for the day to day operational activities of Executive IT/help-desk support, Network administration and A/V systems.

Responsibilities

  • Setup, management, and maintenance of IT-related equipment.
  • Assist with the troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of all corporate IT systems.
  • Develop and monitor performance levels of software and hardware and evaluate, recommend, and propose alternative methods of video conference system and customer briefing center
  • Develop and maintain information architectures (data, application, and network) ensuring the system is on-line daily.
  • Maintain hardware and software maintenance agreements to ensure integrity of , video conference system customer briefing center Operations processes.
  • Diagnose hardware and software failures, communicate the remediation plans to users, and provide status updates.
  • Support desktop maintenance, including inventory and software distribution, and security maintenance, including virus updates and patch management.
  • Executive to management IT supports.

Qualifying Experience

  • 5+ years’ previous experience supporting executive or C-level IT needs.
  • 7+ years’ experience in supporting Windows and XP desktop/laptop PCs.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PCs, scanners, printer, video conference system Polycom and lifesize.
  • Experience in installing software, patches, updates on Desktops, Laptops, Servers
  • Excellent Customer Service Experience is a must.
  • Excellent understanding of the technical fundamentals of the Internet.
